PhilDHRRA Luzon hosts JaDHRRA and Kobe University Study Tour

 February 2011—Tthirteen Economics students from Kobe University and two professors / representatives of JaDHRRA visited project sites of select PhilDHRRA Luzon’s members to observe the socio-economic situation in the country. The study tour also aims to provide them with overview of poverty alleviation initiatives of civil society groups in the Philippines.

PhilDHRRA Luzon recognizes its active members

 The Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas-Luzon Secretariat (PhilDHRRA-Luzon) recently conferred the Most Active Member Award for C.Y. 2009-2010 to Center for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (CARRD) and Fundacion Santiago. The award was presented during the 2011 Regional Assembly held at Ugnayan Hall, PhilDHRRA Partnership Center. 

Fundacion Santiago Promotes Community Based Heritage Tourism

 Sta. Ana, Manila—Fundacion Santiago (FS), a Filipino, private, not-for-profit organization, implements a Community Based Heritage Tourism (CBHT) project in Sariaya and Tayabas, Quezon; San Pablo City, Laguna; Dauis and Tubigon, Bohol; and, Santa Ana, Manila. Locals of the said towns and city serve as tourist guides.
